Melt the chocolate in a low oven, microwave, or in a bowl set over a pan of barely simmering water. With a wooden spoon, cream the butter, add the sugar, and beat well; then add the eggs one by one, beating all the time. Add the sieved flour, baking powder and cocoa, followed by the melted chocolate and the mashed bananas. Sift dry ingredients together and add to the batter alternately with the mashed bananas; stir in vanilla.

  1. Preheat oven at 180 c for 10 min.
  2. Take a mixing bowl,add dry ingredients except sugar and dry fruits.
  3. In another bowl add powdered sugar, mashed banana and beat into smooth mixture.
  4. To this add milk, oil, vanilla essence and combine well.
  5. Add flour mixture, mix well without lumps.
  6. Pour this mixture into greased cake tins.
  7. Sprinkle dry fruits and raisins.Bake for 17-20 minutes at 180 c or skewer stick inserted comes out clean.
  8. Let it cool down and serve.
